Rachael Danforth, M.S., LPCA, NCC

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
National Certified Counselor

I work with children age 5 and older, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My passion is helping people on a journey of self-discovery to achieve a peaceful and fulfilling life.

I am supportive of and an advocate for the LGBTGEQIAP+ community.  I specialize in work with trauma-related disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, borderline personality disorder, grief, and loss. I work with individuals, couples, and families on negative core beliefs that hold them back and work through problematic behaviors and reactions attached to those negative core beliefs. I use dialectical behavioral therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Family Systems to address problematic self-perceptions and behaviors in a safe, non-judgemental, and straight-forward environment.

I received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a licensed professional counselor associate and a national certified counselor (NCC).
